rogers is about to have a big sale on waders. I just bought the lacrosse breathable from them for 160. They've been fine for 17 hunts so far

This may be my next purchase. I have a decent walk to the blind and I have never once been cold due to wader type. I need the lightest I can find.

My dad bought Chene waders last year and he loves them. Said they are by far the most comfortable wader boot he’s ever had. They sure are proud of them ($1,050) but if you wear waders often I think it’s worth it.

Fwiw I went on a hunt 2 weeks ago in Oklahoma and all the guides had Sitka.

I’ve got 3 pairs in mud room, with another pair out for delivery today. 1 pair just made a year old, other 2 a couple months and 1 week and they all leak. I’m going to bite the bullet and get Chene or Sitka. I do like the zipper fronts, very convenient. Neoprene and texas panhandle don’t get along well.

Just bought some TideWe Questwade Elite breathables. Haven’t got them yet. But got 70% off.
We shall see.

Our group of duck hunters all have gone to Simms waders over the last few years. Couple guys have the G4 but they are over $1k plus. I have the Freestone Z Bootfoot model and they are the best I’ve ever had. Check the fly shops online, I ended up with 10% off plus free shipping which came to under $600. Kuiu has waders now and they look great and are made by Simms for Kuiu.

High n Dry baw. Everything else is a bunch of bull sheet. High N Dry

The other never leak option is Dan's. Dans Frogger Waders

FroggTogg makes Rogers waders. They are virtually the same.

Gortex isn't all it's cracked up to be. The Dan's and High N Dry will last way longer than Sitka or any other gortex wader.

All that said 3.5mm neoprene is the quietest and probably best option for deer hunting.
