Ran across this on YouTube. Don't know why, but it fascinated me. Just watching hundreds of ducks trundling down the ramp out into the paddy was interesting.
This is more organized than most school cafeterias
And, yes, I realize if a half dozen of you Louisiana baws were in the tree line it would sound like a recreation of the Tet Offensive.

because they want the rice, not the crawfish and other bugs eating their rice.
the ducks will clean out the patties from all manner of bugs that are in them
then as a bonus, they can eat the ducks too

That's what I was wondering.
The Vietnamese Uncle Si calls them in, maybe?

Here they are loaded on a barge then at 3:00 they are transferred from the barge to a truck on the road.
Loading thousands of ducks.

That's one hell of a mud motor on that barge

Gravity influenced that last bunch.
Fascinating.
Would really like to watch them getting those ducks back on the truck.
ETA: Oooops, nevermind.

Migrating by truck. It looks like the annual flooding of the duck ponds in South Carolina.
