Limited out quickly on yellow tail. Hell of a morning. Saw a blue marlin, tried to get on it and didn't see it surface again. Fished a bit for swordfish but no bites.

Those Mexican Gulf guys were world class. Great time and put us on the tuna in no time. We had an absolute blast.

Went to Elf and 109. Hopefully you get on the fish. It was an absolute blast!

To add - four ice chests are completely filled up with tuna. They put us on some great sized yellow tail.

Where did y’all catch bait?

Thanks for the info. I was going to go more west towards Medusa.

Went yesterday. Blue water was very close. Stopped at BP109 and it was shark city. Moved over to elf and the tuna were there but couldn’t get a bite. Seemed like every time they came up they wet a couple hundred yards away. Anyway, when amberjack opens, they are so thick at Moxie you can walk across the water on them. Water was crystal clear there and we hand fed them pogies for a while just for fun.

He's right. I tried to comment after too many bushwhackers. Yellowfin is what we caught.
