Me and some buddies are going on a tuna trip in June. Does anyone have any recommendations for places to stay some-what close to Venice Marina?
ETA: there are 6 of us going on the trip

Have you checked with Venice Marina for the cabins that are for rent IN the marina? They would be perfect for what you are wanting.

Have used this one twice for client trips. Very clean and nice. Right on the water. But most of them have a two night minimum stay.

Much appreciated! I had no idea they had those. The last time I went we drove from New Orleans the morning of but I refuse to do that again.

The Lighthouse Inn is a hotel down there that isn't bad.
They have some cabins next to it, not sure who owns them, but it may be worth a call to the lighthouse to check it out.

We use the cabins during duck season. Two nights is about 325$ but if you split with 6 it won't be bad. that's what we usually do and your boat is in the water ready to go. They are nice and have a full kitchen if you want to cook. Also they have house boats and camps for rent as well that are bigger but cost more.

LINK Stayed in that one before. It's nice and has plenty of room.
