I bought some Frog Togg breathable Grand Refuge waders in December and they are already leaking and going back to the store today. If I can find some on sale, what type have you guys found that you like and hold up well. I have had Lacrosse neoprene in the past and they held up well, but with all the hoopla with breathables, I thought I would try something else and so far have been disappointed.

TIA

After three seasons of wearing my game winner brand from academy that i got for $89.99, im still very pleased with them. I got the 400g insulated. Ive hunted a handful of times with temps in the 20s and i was fine. Ive hunted a handful of times with temps in the 70s, and they can get a little warm if youre chasing down a bunch of wounded birds, but not enough for me to want to buy something more expensive.

I bought a set of breathable Mack's Prairie Wings, with insulated boots. I will not be wearing neoprene ever again.

That's why you buy the Magellans at Academy. I got the Breathables year before last Teal season and they developed a leak near where the boot meets the fabric during the season. Took them back before Teal opener this past season with the box and receipt and they exchanged for free. Still going strong and still got the box.

If cabelas still made Dri-fit, I'd get those.

I ordered some Banded breathables this season ans they ripped after one hunt. I sent them back and got the Rogers breathables.

The Rogers are decent enough. I only hunted with them second split and so far, no leaks.

I have several buddies who have Banded waders. All of them swore by them when they got them a few years ago, and nearly all have had issues since.

I've always had neoprenes outside of a pair of old canvas waders I used when I started hunting as a kid. Had a pair of Hodgemans for about 15 years and didn't give them up until I had a hole in the crotch I couldn't goop up. I've had a pair of Cabelas 3MM waders for the last 3 years and haven't had any issues.

I've been duck hunting for 30 years and just don't see the point of spending over $300 for a pair of waders. Get something that keeps the water out and layer up underneath. I like the look of the Sitka waders, but no way in hell I'd ever spend $600 on waders.

I highly doubt that.
