Ok, its not the epic "Green Jeans was canned, I killed a monster buck, and banged an OT 10" update we were all hoping for, but here goes.

I filed complaints a few weeks ago online and over the phone. I was told I would hear back from someone soon and I never did. I called back last week and spoke to someone in enforcement who seemed to be genuinely concerned. He took down my entire story and said he would be sure to have the major over Copiah county call me back. That was last Friday and I haven't received a call.

This past weekend I returned to this property for the first time in a while and was pissed to find that the remaining four cameras on the property all had their memory cards stolen. I was Pissed! Later that day I was hunting a stand that is within 100 yards of the hwy and a MDWFP truck pulls over on the side of the road and stops. I can hear someone talking but can't make out what they are saying. They were directly in line with where my stand is located and appeared to be looking for me. I couldn't make out any faces to tell if this was green Jeans or not. They stayed for a second and the very slowly pulled forward and backed up several times scanning the area and I assume looking for me and my stand. I started getting down and they pulled off and drove out of site. I don't know If they saw me getting down or if they couldn't see me and gave up. When I was all the way down the backed up again and then pulled off again. That was the last I saw of them.

I expected to get a call yesterday and planned on reporting all of this but I did not get one. Today I called again and was put through to Lt. Col. Sammy Fisher. I gave him my entire story. He told me that he knew about this and that It was currently under investigation but that's all I could really get out of him. He also seemed displeased to find out about the other cards being stolen. I asked if there was anything else I could do to help move things along and he told me to send him a letter detailing everything I that I had told him and he would be in touch with me.

I plan on heading back to the property Christmas day I guess we'll see what happens next.

ETA: Also, In the past week I have received facebook friend requests from people in that area that I don't know. One of them emailed me and said that they had a run in with Green Jeans too and wanted to be my facebook friend so that they could see pictures of him. I replied to them and told them pictures could probably be found in this thread. the Other friend request was from a person with no pictures but the location was from brookhaven Ms. I don't have any friends out there so I email them asking how we know each other and I haven't gotten a response yet. If either of you facebook friend requesters are reading this, I am trying to be careful about what information I give out. If you are a Green Jeans Spy

ETA again. I just checked out the guy who friend requested me on facebook and he is a fan of North American Game Warden Museum, The Southern States Police Benevolent Association, Inc, and looks like he's wearing a warden T'shirt. sounds fishy

diesel - if you get the time... ride your ATV down from your property a mile or two in each direction. I'd be willing to guess, whoever stole your memory cards threw them out well before whereever he was going. If it was green jeans, he wouldn't want to take a chance of getting caught with them -- so, I bet he through them out of his truck going down the road.

It's a long shot, for sure - but, if you've got the time, maybe you'll get lucky.

I'd ditch the whole MDWP/Mississippi State Police route and go straight to the Feds. Won't be the first time the "Hoover Boys" had to come down and straighten some shite out in Mississippi.
