They just making that up to keep the coonasses from keeping bass during the spawn

Heard the same with local fish or too much fish in general something with mercury levels., Toledo bass don't taste right anyway.

I kept a few 3 to 4 pounders last weekend. Fried bass eggs are super tasty.

Every lake, river, pond, and creek in Louisiana is under the same advisory and has been since the 60's nothing new here.....move along
