Report the water temp where ever your at, thanks. Anywhere I can get the water temps on line?

The Sabine River authority website might have it. They post the water levels and bunch of other stuff associated with Toledo bend.

Went to their site after posting. Only thing I found temp wise was the temp at Many.

Headed down tomorrow around Many/Zwolle area. Anybody hear how the white perch and bass fishing is looking?

The Toledo Bend facebook pages are going nuts with people showing pictures of bass they kept and the purist dogging them for it.
I usually keep some bucks to eat once or twice a year, I love fried bass.
I do release anything that looks like it has eggs or over 3 lbs.
The law says you can keep 5 in Texas and until it says 0 I'll keep a few

Yeah, I have been watching those. One of them was started by a guide. He said they were released, but they don't alive in the pics.

I wish I could go! A friend is killing them down there this week. Sunday their best five went 33lbs and had 10 that look liked twins. I have no idea what he caught them on just know off the bank.

I need a guide on either April 2, 3, 4, 5. I looked at LTD and two others. Does anyone has a recommendation? Thank you

Heading up tomorrow morning to fish all day. Any recommendations on what to throw?

Went last weekend. Caught two in three days. Going again today for the weekend. Hope to atleast double that number.

One thing that almost always works this time of year is beating the banks, especially irregular features, with a Rapala Shad Rap(SR06). Both bass and white perch will hit these. I plan on doing this in Yocum next weekend.

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to try that out. We were planning on fishing the banks/coves between San Miguel and Lanan where the family camp is.
