I'm torn with going to PAC or GI this weekend. Never fished either by boat. Any tips on fishing PAC? Pretty easy to navigate and not get stuck?

Very easy to navigate. Pull up google maps and look at the marina. You come out and can go left or right. Lots of ponds all around. Better redfishing than trout this time of year.

What size boat? Theres a spot in Bayou Blue (Grand Bayou) that gets little confusing and shallow when you head south from the marina. Other than that, pretty easy to find your way around.

I’ve never summer trout fished PAC, do most people run down to lake felicity and fish the islands? Are there platforms to fish out there?

felicity doesn't have many/any platforms. your not too far from lake barrie and it has plenty of productive (usually) platforms.
fyi: the bayou that runs into felicity has gotten pretty shallow. cut off into lake chein instead.

Is it worth going to timbalier to fish? Or stay in the lakes? These are oil platforms you're talking about?

That’s a hefty run to Timb... I’d prefer to trailer a little further to leeville or da Fou I think.

You can fish the oyster beds in Lake Chein and Felicity, wont be as productive as the island though.
