I dont like having a big arse telescope on my rifle. Heavy and big for no benefit at the ranges most people shoot.
Yeah true. I have a 50 and it lets a lot of light in at dusk. I'm happy with it. However, it's like a 3.5x10 or something, I'd have to go check.

I’ve got the Cabela’s model 4x12 50mm on my 30-06. Love it. Mine is the tactical with adjustable turrets that I really don’t need, but I got such a good deal on it I could pass it up.
I really like it. My son got one just like it on his custom 30-06 as well.
Cabela’s was discontinuing them and we got them for about $350. List was around $900.
I was told Meopta made the old Zeiss Conquest several years ago for Zeiss. Or at least the glass.

Good glass at a reasonable price compared to what you get

Their NY facility was cranking out huge numbers for zeiss back in the day. OEM work is really what they do. You’d be surprised what they churn out of their factories in Czech Republic and Florida.
Probably one of the coolest/richest histories of any of the optics manufacturers.

There's alot of reticle choices. Not alot of info on them though.

They make a higher level called Meo Star for a lot more money and may be worth it.
I’ve got two of the pros that Optics Planet had on clearance a few years back and they’re great scopes. Heard about the clearance here.
