I liked mossy oak because it was darker. Most places I hunted was in shadows, it matched well.
The new break up infinity isn't as black as the break up though

Oilfield camo.....uses oilfield tools and such to make a unique pattern that really works well.
they also have other oilfield related clothing and stuff. made by folks in south louisiana for the hardworking outdoorsmen in the oilfield.

I really don't think it matters for deer at all, but if I am going to go through the trouble of picking it out, I'm not buying camo with black in it if I can help it.

I feel like I see a lot of black where I hunt so I kinds like it. All preference I suppose.
The swamp looks half black anyway so I'm probably good with what I have still, even though I'll be covered on orange the whole time on public land. Trigger happy retards walking out there during rifle season

Its all about breaking up your silhouette, and not looking like a big blob out there. Whatever you have to wear to blend in, whether its got black or purple in it.

I would thing more black would be better to not show movement as much.

Walk through the woods and look up. Notice how much black you see. Where I hunt, none. I'd rather where solid baby blue.

Also, I'm on the ground a lot, if that makes a difference

My favorite has always been Break-up. They updated it a few years back with much more definition in the prints, and I dont like it as much as the old stuff. On the new pattern, the sticks and leaves are very distinguishable, and in the old stuff, I felt like it was all one pattern with not as much definition, and didn't stand out as much.
I could also use the old stuff in every different type of woods, and used it in the marsh too
