I was at the CCA meeting where this was unveiled this week in Covington.
1) She is not hot. Ginger about 50lbs away from being considered "hot".
2) There are buoys all over Lake Ponchartrain picking up these signals...they will eventually extend further south, and hopefully across the Gulf Coast to get a true accounting of where these fish go all year 'round.
3) 19 bull sharks are tagged in Lake Ponchartrain. Most leave in October and come back in April. One is 9' long apparently.
4) They are desperately looking for anyone to take tarpon in the lake, so they can track them. They cannot find anyone.
5) Deadly Dudley was one of the main guys catching and tagging these. His theory is that there is no pattern, the fish follow bait and steer off course accordingly when they are in the lake.
6) If you catch one that is tagged, call them asap and release the fish, and they will send you a nice gift (didn't say what that was).
7) They gave away t-shirts and stickers to the audience so they want this to be promoted and used by recreational fishermen.
8) These tagged trout swim an average of 4 miles per day.
9)The program is funded by fees collected by the LDWF (licenses, fines, registrations, etc), and no tax dollars are used from the general fund. They also apply for grants to fund this project.
10) They will continue to try and make it more user friendly. No plans for an APP, and the mobile reception is good because it is not real-time or streaming...the data on most fish is from a year ago...but can still give you some ideas.
11) If a tagged fish is eaten by another fish, then they cannot control the data...it will show as the original fish moving about.
Good stuff...very progressive site for poor 'ol Looooziana.

Thanks
Now I got something ELSE to look at at work which will not be productive, but which will distract me. Now I need to find out where all these fish go!
One of those YFTs is easily locatable!

She seemed like the perfect combination of sexy and smart to me. Oh yeah and she likes to mess with fish. What more could you want!
Perhaps the issue isn't her so much, as it is the fact that you might be into that prepubescent boy figure, no?
PS: A bunch of your bullet points about the presentation were wrong. You should feel like a dumbass, dumbass.

The ginger that works on this project knows more about fishing than half the guys on this board. She drives trucks, backs trailers, and operates 40' research boats. She's extremely smart and I think she's pretty darn hot.
Dude that mentioned that she needs to lose some weight must have been rejected. I guess it's too late for ya bro, pretty sure she married an OT baller.
