Is it too late to get in on this?

Fish, I sent you an email...

I saw where BP ordered bulk glue? Is there enough left for me to get in on this?

Sorry... I just need details of what's already provided (I will pay my share) and what I need to bring? (if I can still get in on it?)

BP,

Do you have enought nails and glue for one more person to get in on this?

Fish,

Pepperidge told me you're ordering the wood today. Can you add me in?

I'll have cash in hand to pay back anyone I need to on build day.

Sorry for being a pest... Finally finished reading the entire thread.

So...

Seems like glue and nails have been ordered in bulk... Can I still get in on that?

What about the wood? Is that all handled and is someone ordering it all? Looked like DaHammer's source fell through and Fish found a couple sources but is it all purchased and delivered (or will be delivered)?

I really want in on this if possible, and as stated, will have cash in hand on day of build.

Can't say I'll be bringing or eating food or drinking beer. I'm having weight loss surgery on the 5th so I'll be sucking down clear, non-alcoholic, non-carbonated liquids for 2 weeks. (I'll gladly bring some beer for others to enjoy though...)

CD, I should have enough glue for 16 pirouges so no problem there. I however, only ordered 10 lbs of nails which is enough nails for 10 pirouges. There will likely be enough as I think 1 or 2 others already ordered nails. It wouldn't hurt to pick up an extra lb to be safe.

Pepperidge offered me a pound of nails also so between you two, I should be covered.

Thanks, BP.

Now... Just need to hear back from Fish to make sure there's enough wood for me to join in.

Where y'at Fish?

My wife and boys will be there and she is planning on taking lots of photos and some video.

FTf we should have enough glue for you too. and possibly nails. The wood is supposed to be picked up tomorrow so I am sure you could get in on that too.

Here. I will included you for the wood. I will be going early tomorrow morning. Have to drive over to Lafayette to pick it up from two lumber yards.

Total cost looks like it's going to be closer to $175.

Forgot something on the supply list. Brass wood screws. I will pick up enough for all. Takes no less then 16 per boat.

I did pick up the 2x4's and I'm going to do all bow stems maybe today.

Just finish working on the dam lawnmower. New blades now and the wife is cutting away.

So, at this point, it looks like 10 of us will be building.

If anybody else wants in, post up before early morning.

For the experience of learning how to from a man with the knowledge AND to build my own while doing so, AND in the company of fellow outdoorsmen.

You can't beat that with a baseball bat!

Can't wait!

the nails just arrived...(2)1# boxes boy that sure don't look like much...you have an esimate on how many nails you actually drive into one of these bad boys?

I can count how many are in a pound and post the results...but it almost looks like 2# wont do it...

let us know asap so we can order some more to get here in time if need be

...

on edit: okay...looks can be deceiving...that little bit of nails turned out to be 290...

so Fish...290 per boat should be enough?

Whatever your bill for the products are we'll just divide up amongst those that you are purchasing for...I can't speak for everyone, but it wouldn't bother me 1 bit if we all covered the cost for the one you are building for your grandson...
