Finding the fish based on conditions and patterns are way more important than what you throw. All I need
Weedless both weightless and weighted soft plastic
Lipless
Jerkbait
Bladed jig

Agree 100%
A beginner is probably fishing from the bank. That rules out squarebills/crankbaits for me because I have a knack for snagging and losing them when I bank fish.
1. Chartreuse/white spinnerbait - retrieved just under the surface anywhere from right along the bank to deeper water
2. Texas rigged plastic
3. Yellow Magic or Zara Spook for top water fun
4. Beetle Spin - Beginners like to catch fish and aren’t worried about trophy sized hawgs

If it can't be caught on a beetle spin it doesn't need to be caught.

I’d take your 5 to any lake and expect to catch bass. Great selection!

I feel like if I only ever threw a humdinger spinnerbait and a Texas-rigged junebug trick worm, I’d catch more fish. And a buzz bait early morning.

Looks like he took it down for some reason, then put it back up, perhaps with an additional edit or something. The link is good again in OP.

Why and how do you infuse salt into soft lure ?

Chrome and black rattle trap.
White spinner bait, about 1/2 oz with a silver Colorado blade.
Original Rapala floating minnow, 4 3/8 inch long.
Plastic worm of choice for texas / carolina rig, doesn't matter which one as long as it is somewhere close to an original manns purple grape in color.
And one that not many folks would agree with most likely but a 3/8 oz black rooster tail.
Rattle trap can be fished just about anyway bass want it. Same with a spinner bait, fast and up top or slow rolling....and both can cover a LOT of ground. Gotta have a plastic worm rigged up and ready to go for fishing slower and deeper and also to throw at short strikes on the spinner bait. The original Rapala is as good a top water bait as has ever existed and can also be fished 2-3 feet deep. And you would have the plastic in the case of missed strikes.
Finally the rooster tail. I get it, not exactly what most people consider a bass bait BUT they simply flat out catch fish. If I were fishing current it'd be my go to bait. May not catch a bunch of hawgs but will almost always catch a bunch of 1-2 pounders.

P.S Are Goldfish used for bait in Louisiana illegal?
Legal in GA but can't speak for LA.
Not only legal but also damned effective...

I do not do much bass fishing any more but when I do I throw a spinner bait year round about 70% of the time. Covers lots of water, can be fished multiple ways and bass of all sizes simply can't resist them.
