Was fishing on the beach at Elmer’s island and thought I hooked a redfish. Was ripping drag. Got it close and it was a big trout. Didn’t have a net but the guy next to me did. He tried to net it. Missed it and the trout came off slowly swimming away. We both saw it and he said “Damn that was a big trout”. It would have been my PB. It was over 7 lbs. I got sick in the stomach and went home lol

Fished Calling Panther in central MS today. Rained overnight, temp dropped 15 degrees, and it was windy as hell. Caught 13 and this tank all on a wacky rigged senko. Had 1 blowup on a frog but that was it. Not a bite on anything else.

7.84. It’s just the full screen on the sonar screen but it looks crazy cause I’m in pads sitting still and getting all kinds of weird feedback

I was out there and couldnt find the trout at PAC yesterday. Only got 1 keeper, 1 dink trout and 1 rat red. Tried going upstream to get past the nets but the current was ripping, my legs were hurting, and I decided it wasn’t worth it

BCKFC cancelled Paddlepalooza. Will now have a cpr Trout Challenge that day instead.
