I'd be willing to do $150/ticket at most, if I find some cool, if not, still cool, I expect that to be a difficult find. Planning to bring cash and willing to wait until after kickoff.

but $200 cash for 2 tickets right before kickoff will probably get you in without a problem.

I doubt that

I know it seems crazy based on the prices on stubhub, etc... and based on the general excitement for this game, but I've gotten into many events that were sold out ranging from LSU football games to concerts and everything in between and I have never had a problem paying $100/ticket and waiting at the door right before the event started.

Inevitably, someone is walking in with 2 tickets in their hand that are about to become worthless to them and they'll part with them. You just can't be too picky or too desperate.

LOTS of people have zero interest in working hard to sell their tickets they can't use. I've been sent to games with tickets with the instruction, "Get something for them if you can, please."

So, I'm itching to go whenever one of the salt guys here drums up a trip.

ClassicGold and another guy from Alx are heading down to test out his new SP13 next Saturday. Depending on how they do, I may go Sunday if you or anyone wants to join.

I'm going back to Choupique next Saturday. I did really well 2 weeks ago.

Yeah. Probably not the actual lake if it’s as messy as people say it is. Maybe try Choupique or Joe’s.

Lefty, you’ll see them out there most likely then. CG will be in his new Slayer and I may let TY take my Predator with him.

Yep. Next Saturday will be my first trip in my new kayak and my first trip to choupique. It's either there or West Cove, but I think we will stick with the bayou. I've heard some really good things about that area this time of year. I'm hoping we can get a couple slams in there after this cold front.

The marsh is closed at WC and it can get rough in the cove.

Ahh I forgot they close it in October. I want to stay out of the wind and have a fairly easy trip, so Choupique it is. I'm hoping to snag a few trout to go along with the reds in there.

We'll launch off of Chilly Westland road and have about a 20-30 minute paddle/pedal to where I like to fish towards the ship channel.

That's where we plan on launching. Me and Ty will let ya'll know when we plan on getting out there. He knows what you all look like. Hopefully everyone's boat will get a little slime.

He needs to borrow the Old Town. Could be a long paddle and current is unpredictable. Tell him to leave the Lure at home. lol
