His first trip out his kayak filled up with water, this past Saturday his rudder cable broke.

Something about Native didn’t include a gasket on the rudder that’s now standard, it filled up with around 5 gallons of water in PAC. This weekend his rudder cable broke in open water. I believe he said they also had to replace the drive because the prop was hitting the hull, this is on a Titan 12.

It was slow for the most part, I caught one around 8am and didn’t catch anything else until around noon when they seemed to turn on. I ended up with 4 keepers, lost a few at the boat then hooked up with a few that got off. All trolling. Probably could have stuck around a put a decent bag of fish together but had somewhere to go.
