Man, you really worry about this.

I do. If you fish PAC enough you'd understand. If Jackson can improve the efficiency of their Flex Drive I would strongly consider it. I really like the idea of it releasing automatically when you hit something.

If you fish a lot of Marsh get the PA. Feel Free's are made in China or Thailand and you have no local support. Hobies are made in the USA and you have several dealers in the area.

Thanks guys

ETA: I do fish mostly marsh. Probably gonna have to just do a demo day with the PA and try one of the Lures since its the same drive the Dorado is coming with

Where do you demo a Lure? BTW, I just read that the pedal system weighs 25lbs.

Make sure to fish a bank with both with the wind at your back.

Apparently nowhere. Feelfree's website listed Massey's and Everything Kayak as dealers, but after seeing your post I checked both Massey's and EK's websites and didn't see any Feelfree yaks on either of their sites. Guess I'm not demoing the Overdrive system anytime soon

Somewhere in this thread someone mentioned that Masseys quit carrying them because they were splitting and cracking.

Has anyone launched their yak out of Maxie Pierce? I have been there several times in a boat but the places we went were too far to go in a yak.

I saw the other day the person that bought the Native Slayer that both of us owned has it listed at $1400. That is a lil cray cray.

I saw that, I think originally it was at $1450 and now $1400. They’ve lost their damn mind.

Anyone fishing LA1 Slamboree this weekend?

Yeah that was me. The girl at Covington Masseys said their buyer found out they were made outside of the US which is either contrary to what they thought or not what they want in their stores. And some of their customers brought them back because there was splitting at some seams. She didn’t go in to much detail about it.

It's pretty well equipped but there's no damn way. Paddle, Bending Branches Optimus stake out pole, anchor trolleys, lighting, batteries, I believe it has a GPS/depth finder on it now, Native rudder system(HUGE upgrade), Native fish bag.

A couple different facebook groups and facebook marketplace. Go to Facebook Marketplace and search "slayer" and it pops up.

I think I let it go for $750. I am glad I did at that time because I immediately found my Outback for $1000. When I sold it to them it seemed like they had no knowledge about kayaks or kayak fishing. I was explaining the features and he didn't seem interested or he didn't seem like he understood what I was saying. Here is my theory. They did some bad research on that kayak and thought it was worth a whole lot more than it is and they bought it to turn around a profit.

What do you guys think will happen to the used kayak market in the non pedal kayaks when those new kayaks that were advertised at iCast that are pedal driven come out (Pelican and some other boat maker)? They were being advertised at around $1000 - $1300 brand new.
