I hunt on land my dad and I lease from the forestry commission. There has been too many times I have let a lesser buck than this walk only to hear him shoot 30 minutes later. When he stepped out in to the food plot I knew if I didn't take him, the old man would.

Thanks, that's the oldest of my 3 girls, she is 9. She loves it, I'm gonna get her started shooting this year so next year she can take one.

That deer is from last season. The coolest part, IMO, about it was I had found his shed from the previous year, about a week prior to killing him.

I know what you mean. I wish my wife liked hunting. She wouldn't go hunting with me if it was my dying wish.

I took a girl hunting once. It was miserable. Now put one in a boat on a warm day with a cooler of beer and they're fine, but getting one to sit still in the cold is damn impossible.

People like to keep their trucks purty now, they wouldn't want to scratch their clear coat or put blood on their nice paint. They put them in be bed with their fancy spray in bedliners.

We've become a bunch of sissies

Damn right. Nothing screams pussy like throwing a deer into the bed of your truck.

Fify. I see a ton of high dollar spending hunters that go to the camp for a week to be in the woods but you can bet your arse they dont wanna get any "nature' on them. Fancy trucks and buggies they have to keep shined up, gloves any time they handle anything outside ( firewood, cleaning a deer, hooking up a trailer).

They could prob afford a beat up camp truck to drive back and forth but then they wouldnt be able to show off their chrome rims

I used to always say no to gloves when doing yard work and moving wood around and stuff like that. Then I worked at a plant and had to wear gloves all the time, and I realized, wow I'm a dumbass, this is much better
