Popped my cherry last weekend after learning about it here a couple of weeks ago. I drove 8 extra miles (16 there and back) to save $.40/lbs.

I'm up in Shreveport. The local place around the corner was $.40/lbs. higher than a place out on the industrial loop.

Yeah. I talked to the guy running the shack for a few minutes. Supposedly they are making a run with a refridgerator truck to somewhere in CENLA every Thursday and loading up for the weekend. I plan on using them more unless the app points me somewhere else.

I won a BOIL BOSS and a free sack of crawfish from them off of their facebook page this week!

I use their app every time to find the best deals on live and boiled crawfish.

I have not seen that. Should have named it the Boil Baws though.

Someone mixed a hula hoop with a lawn sprinkler in their garage.

I'll find out this weekend when I boil the free sack!

I've been using frozen 2-liters for a few years now after I realized that dumping ice into the pot dilutes the seasoning. The 2 liters work great so I'm a little skeptical that this thing will work as well. But for free, I'll try it!

One of my relatives is the creator of the app. Hard to think someone could develop an app while raising two young kids and finishing law school but damn good for them. Its pretty cool to see something take off like it has.

The only down fall is they put the prices of the small ones up. So I called Amy’s which says 1.49 but that is for peelers and it 2.50 for nicer crawfish. At least they told me before I made the 30 minute drive to save 40$ but get small bugs

Let me know. Tap water is pretty cold here, even in the summer so it should work pretty well for me. I sent the link to the woman that organizes our crawfish boils and she's all over it. Seems kinda pricey to me but if she wants to get one, I'm not going to stop her.

Me, I get mine from the same wholesaler by the camp every time. Better, fresher bugs and a good deal since she knows I don't go anywhere else.

I've used the boil boss before and it works great. Someone gave it to me as a gift a while back. It's a whole lot easier than spraying the side of a pot with a hose.
