I'm headed down to our family place on Friday to meet up with my dad and spend a weekend cooking and sitting in the stand. I've been waiting for this weekend (hunting and LSU/Bama) for a long time. What do you guys have planned?

If you ever need a ranch doctor, give me a year and a half to finish Med school and I'll come live on the ranch

Baited up a little area last week and had some of the help go in and close some gates yesterday. That should have everything trapped.... I mean bedded in about 150 acres.

Bringing the dogs just incase we need to make a little drive Sunday before we come back on Monday.

It's supposed to be 91+ in my neck of the woods. I think I may wear shorts and tshirt to the blind For some reason I have a hard time sitting by a fire drinking whiskey when it's this hot. Last weekend the deer were all messed up moving in the middle of the day...

Got invited to go to the company ranch in West TX. Getting there at 5pm this afternoon. Shooting every GD coyote and pig I see.

Apparently a couple of us new hires are going to clear out the pigs and coyotes this weekend so the big wigs can go shoot some bruisers.

Idc. Gives me an excuse to use my new night scope. And everything is free.

Get into deer stand, light up cigar, then shoot deer. The deer don't smell cigar smoke and it keeps the bugs away...

Go past the famous Edwards county airport hang a right and go in 13 bump gates to the Eppperson Ranch. We camp under the windmill on the left side of the road right before the 14th bump gate.
