Let me preface this by saying I'm a Glock guy so don't blast me over this post. I just picked up a Taurus G3C at Academy on sale for $209. That is quite a deal for a 12 round 9mm pistol. It is about the same size as my Glock 43X at less than half the cost.

I just wanted an extra gun, just because Merica' and stuff, and the reviews on this one are pretty good for a taurus. Anybody had any real experience with the gun? Not interested in what you read online. I've already done that myself.

Thought I would share. Thanks.

Edit: Haven't shot it yet. Maybe this weekend.

Thats a good price I assume, as you stated. I probably would have done the same.

No experience with Taurus other than my TX22 which is a banger.

I've had a G2C for a while and the trigger sucks but it always goes bang when I want it to.

I bought one a couple years ago and it hasn't misfired or failed to eject 1 time.

I needed a cheap pistol to carry in the woods and not be worried about it. This gun seemed to fit the bill just fine.

Its not a bad gun. The trigger is not great though. I do like the double strike capability of mine

This was all about what I was expecting. A decent gun, not great, but decent. But for 200 bucks I thought it was a great deal. I just want a knock around gun that I don't mind getting banged up.

I've seen this gun as high as $299 in the past.
