Have two guns that are in need of professional help (Browning Gold & Weatherby 22). Really don't have much confidence in Hunters Spec guy. While i am at it might even put oem parts back into my SBE 1

Hunters Spec guy? I guess that’s Earl at Hunter’s Pistol Supply and Gun Range… he’s done work for me before and I can’t recommend him. There’s Max’s Gun Repair shop in Leesville. I hear he does good work.

Are you in Lafayette ? For general repair, cleaning, re-assembly, etc ... Mike Brazda (Bayou Teche Guns) is located in Arnaudville. No clue on his current turnaround time. Probably busy AF with dove and teal season in < 30 days.

Thanks but i am in LC now but he was the guy when i lived in Laffy. Aville is a little too far for me, guns don't need to be shot anytime soon just want them fixed.

Ray Perry in Bridge City is one of the finest gunsmiths available. Worth the drive.

I second them. Ask for Dean Smith. He does good work, built a couple ARs for me.
