I bought a blue wave with a 300 zuke on it. When I go to load it on the trailer and it hits resistance where the boat doesn't move like it wants the motor trims itself down. I have read that this is an auto trim feature.

The only way I have read to turn it off is through the electronic suzuki module in the dash, but mine has no settings for an auto trim. Does anyone know how to turn this off... Permanently?

Google says as soon as you hit manual trim it overrides the auto

I can confirm that is not accurate. It does it every time. Even when you trim back up.

that sounds odd. not sure that has to do with the zuk. might be a wiring issue or something.

but zuk's are great engines otherwise. we had one on our prior boat and it was bulletproof. i would not hesitate to get another.

It is a 2021. I have already had one problem with it. It's in the shop currently. They said they found the problem and it was an "air lock" or an air bubble in a hose that was keeping it from peeing.

I have 2023 DF250 with a Multi Function gauge. I have seen this in the setting but mine does not have that feature.

Go to this site and ask the question.
