I ordered mine last week for both of my AR-15 and AR-10 rifles. The rep I spoke with on the phone said that instead of buying separate suppressors for each rifle, just get the Banish 30 since it will make the AR-15 much quieter when I use it, in addition to having it for the AR-10. It will take about 7-9 months to receive it, but they do all the leg work for the tax stamp. I took the 4 separate payments option since the amount was exactly the same if I had paid in full. I'll probably get a separate suppressor for my future AR-15 pistol build.

Never heard of the Banish 30

What are you planning on putting it on?

I have several. One thing holds true, if you buy one, you will buy more. So, don’t try to buy one fits all.

ETA: You may want to research the Banish 30 some more before you jump out there a get one. Snipershide is not a fan.

If you suppress a 300 Blackout do you have to have an adjustable gas block?

My understanding is that the 300 Blackout was designed to run either surpressed or non-surpressed. That said, there are too many variables to make a blanket statement for every 300 Blackout, especially if you are building your own.

I have a recce 7 on my 300 sbr blackout. It's badass. Really quiet. I run it in all my guns though. From 223 to 6.5 creedmoor to blackout and will run it on my 28 nosler. Definitely get a 30 cal.

The first week of November (yes, a few days AFTER the election.....) I bought a Silencerco 30 caliber Harvester. I was told at the time it would take 7-8 months to get it. The process was SO much easier now than it was 5 years ago when I bought my first suppressor, a Spectre 2 for a 22 lr. I was able to finish the entire process, including fingerprints, application, picture, etc, in <30 minutes. Wouldn't it be nice if the ATF would also streamline it's process? I plan on using the Harvester on a Nosler Custom Handgun in 22 Nosler, a Remington XP-100 in 284 Winchester and a 20 VarTarg handgun I'm building on a Howa Mini-Action.

For my .300 blkout suppressor I bought a Q trash panda
Form 4 - filed 5/20 - check cashed 6/16/20...still waiting
Form 1 suppressor filed 8/20/20 - still waiting
Any day now...

I'm not running an adjustable gasblock on a 10" barrel. I've read in my searches they aren't designed to need one but some guys with a 16" barrel need one depending on tube size and length.

Have the same set up, 10.5” barrel on a 300blk out. Trash panda on the end. Do not have an adjustable gas block and I’ve never had an issue. I’ve shot Barnes tac tx 110gr, Hornady 150gr soft points, and nosler 220gr custom comp with not one problem.

How you like the trash panda? I have 110g Hornady vmax ill shoot 90% of the time. When I want to be real quiet I have Hornady subx 190gr
I'm hoping to have it within 4 weeks

Just a heads up to the 300 blkout guys. I reload for mine. I use leatherhead bullets which are cast 220 gr then hitek coated. Zero issues and can get 500 for 83 bucks shipped. By far the best way to plink around with subsonics. Comes out to 23 cents a round. Supers run the 100 tactx and zmax.

Love it. Came with two cherry bombs so I have one on the 300blk out and one on my 556. No POI shift that I’ve noticed when swapping back and forth. Crazy quiet with the subs.

I was lucky in that I bought it June 2019, check cashed July 2019, stamp arrived at dealer October 2019. The q el Camino I bought took much longer.

Nice. I have the cherry bomb on my gun right now. I'm at the average wait time and the "ask the experts" lady told me it should be no longer than a month left to wait.

One thing I do plan on is having separate suppressors for each of my rifles and I'm not done buying more AR style or bolt action rifles.

I chose the Banish 30 for my first suppressor for the following reasons:

-It can be set in either 7 or 9 inches depending on what rifle is used.
-One of the lighter supressors on the market (10-13 oz.) It's constructed of titanium, not steel or aluminum like most suppressors.
-Rated for full automatic rifles. Goal is to get a full auto rifle at some point when my Bitcoin goes to $150,000 plus, likely later this year. I'm targeting the M-16A2 or MP-5 automatic weapons.
-Lifetime warranty
-Entire suppressor comes apart for easier cleaning. Found out that most suppressors don't allow this.
-The company handles the entire paperwork process for the tax stamp with the ATF, which is a plus.
-It's one of the quietest suppressor on the market. Since the Banish 30 is rated up to a 30 caliber rifle, then anything smaller than that will be even quieter than most brands. I still plan on wearing ear protection.

I'll eventually get a supressor for the home defense pistol (Sig Sauer P320 or P250 9mm) so I don't have to wear hearing protection, which would just get in the way.

The only "first world" issue with the suppressor is that it has to be screwed into every rifle, which is fine with me since I think the quick disconnects don't work as well and creates more "blow back" of the smoke.

While this sounds great, it serve little purpose honestly.
My two rifle silencers have never been cleaned.

Another thing to consider is with baffles moving it will change your POI anytime you make any type of adjustment.
Inside 100yds, it won’t be an issue. Outside of that it very well can be.

If you buy from Silencer shop and find a local store with a kiosk, the process could not be any simpler. I’ve bought 4 that way, one last week.

Taking them away?

No, I don’t see anyway that would make it through the courts.

No. I have just a regular pistol length gas system and it chews through both supers and subs, suppressed or unsuppressed.

The buffer system is where you really get bang for your buck in tuning, not the gas system. I like to run the heaviest buffers that will reliably cycle unsuppressed subs and still throw brass out at 3-4 o'clock. The heavier buffer really spreads out the recoil (what there is of it, anyway) pulse and makes shooting it like buttah. Suppressed subs are like a summer breeze against my shoulder.
