I have a few projects I am bringing to completion and thought you guys may want to see them. I'm curious to see what you guys have started or completed.
Here is my new camo closet. I got tired of sorting through oversized ziplock bags and plastic bins for what I was looking for. It is completely airtight to prevent unwanted odors from getting on the clothes. It should also prevent bugs/spiders from getting in.
All of the exterior 1/4 ply was attached with continous bead of liquid nail.
I used 3/4" black iron pipe for the closet rod for strength.
Then all seams were caulked on the inside to assure air tightness.
The doors were sealed with 1/4" foam tape on all occlusive surfaces and I used 2 slide bolts on the left door to assure it is closed tightly. The right door has two also that latch it tight.
The bins divide my kids clothes and smaller items like gloves, hats, and socks.
I added hooks on the outside for hanging items that have been worn in the moring but plan to use that afternoon. The space above is for other hunting realted items I need to organize like cameras, decoys, binos, ect.

Nice. I have a lot on my plate right now but on the list of projects is a couple nice rod racks and a gun rack. Camo closet is one I'd like to make eventually

nice. might want to add a support in the middle. it appears to be sagging ever so slightly.
me and pow pow are going to put our heads together this afternoon and build a carrier for a water cooler that we can attach to dad's golf cart for father's day

my deck will be the next project
has anybody have any experience with composite or manufactured deck materials? is the initial investment worth it over treated lumber?

no way, that thread was more geared to a cutting or weed eating preference.
I did buy a stihl backpack blower... that shite not only blows the leaves off my porch,it blows the mulch out the garden... then i'm like... well that didn't do any good!

My FIL put that down 10 years ago and had had zero probs. He does decks and fences and such for a living and he says if you can afford it, do it.

Fence across my empty lot beside my house.
I've set post for a covered area at the back corner for my trailer and a few other small yard stuff. I'll try to get it finished soon.

Salmon - your counter tops look to be concrete. Did you do them yourself?
Either way, your kitchen looks great.

Nice remodel Salmon. I really like the colors
Really good looking fence. Seal it up nice or it will turn grey though.

they are concrete, but no, they were the only thing that I hired out
I thought about trying it myself, but I read several horror stories about people not getting the mixture ratio right and everything falling apart
