I can put you to work if you can operate a wheel barrow and a shovel.

Do you like kids?

What about being a camp counselor? I did it for 7 years and loved it. Especially if they have riflery or a hunter safety/skeet shooting class.

Pay isn't great, but you'll have a damn good time.

I've spent a shite ton of time in the HC. You like Burnet? We used to have a place in MF. I'll be moving down there sooner or later, hopefully sooner.

I was a camper at Camp La Junta in Hunt on the Guad for 6 years, worked there for 8.

Starting pay at $8.50/hr, but we can negotiate depending on the level of your worth a shitness. Lots of traveling involved though..

Camp counselor won't pay. Isn't the point of a summer job to make some money?

Camp La Junta

It's a boys camp- I couldn't deal with little girls.

Camp Longhorn is also a good one, but it's co-ed.

There's also Camp Lonehollow.

All are in Central Texas- God's Country IMO.

Or to get experience and have fun.

CLJ is where I learned to party. Started all my bad habits there... Dipping, drinking, you name it.

Yep. Inks is part of the Colorado River chain of lakes. We had a place on LBJ. I <3 the HC. A lot.

You won't be getting more than 7.25 an hour, but you'll have a damn good time and make some good friends.

My best friend is a guy that I met working at camp. At CLJ, nights off are like an SEC gameday.

If meeting hot chick and getting hammered are included in the 7.25 an hour, it sounds good to me. I'll be checking out those place.
