I have a nylon 66, and like it better than a 10/22, but they are much more expensive.

If you want a bolt gun, CZ is the way to go followed by Savage.

10/22

If you don't have 1, get one ASAFP.

Check out a Magnum Research 22LR Hogue. A friend had one that I got to shoot and went the next week to get mine. Very sweet rifle.

CZ 455 or 10/22,if you are a lefty look at the cz452.

I sold my 10/22 when I got my CZ. Luckily, I sold it to my sister so we can teach her 2 daughters how to shoot.

I've got that exact set up. Ruger 10/22 takedown with the Silencerco Sparrow. Posted a picture of it a couple of weeks ago.

I like my marlin 60. But if I were going to get something new it would be a henry. Just a gorgeous gun.

Because the 452 comes in left hand models, and the 455 doesn't.The 455 barrel is also similar to a 10/22 where you can change it without a bunch of tools. 452 is screwed on like a normal rifle. I hate using right handed guns when left hand models are available. If it was faster or easier then all the right handed guns would be built the other way.

Didn't know that. FWIW, Puglia's always has a 452 on their rack. It's where I got my Scout for something like $300. I actually thought they had it priced wrong, so I snatched it up with the quickness

Thinking about duracoating mine - Nutfancy style.

I need to accessorize it first.

Mulling over getting a "good enough scope" or going whole hog on the Leupold VX-1 rimfire.

I've got that Mueller APT that I've only taken out to 75 yards once, but I'm waiting on my chance to go further and shoot better ammo

Marlin 60 is about $180 and quite accurate. You want mind getting a scratch on it.
