Almost that time already.

For me, that’s enough shells for the next 3 teal seasons based on the last couple!

I've been tempted to try those, but it's quite a stretch from the Kent steel that I usually shoot. Ready for some duck killing, regardless! Can't come soon enough.

For me it’s tough to beat #6 kent teal steel. Been shooting them for years and been very happy. I don’t like kent for big ducks, but teal steel is my go to. What shot, etc are those boss? Do they make a 3” or are they all 2 3/4”? I looked at them last year, but got side tracked and never ordered any

They have a fan page on Facebook where a ton of questions get answered...everything from choke recommendations to what shot and size shell works best for whatever waterfowl you're shooting at.

They make 2 3/4" and 3 inch but everyone (even boss) says 2 3/4" is more than enough for ducks. The overwhelming recommendation for 12 guage are number 5's 1 1/4 ounce in 2 3/4 shell...that's the majority of what I ordered, I also ordered 7 shot for teal and some 28 gauge shells for my son.

A lot of people also recommend the 5 and 3 mixed

I picked up a case of the 2 3/4" #3/5. Looking forward to trying them out this year.

I'm tossing around the idea of picking the 3/5 up in 3"

I’m using BOSS 5’s in my 20ga for ducks this year. But no way I’m spending BOSS money on teal. Teal get the cheapest steel 6 or 7’s I can find.

A lead ticket is cheaper.
