Sorry about the delay. Here is the one that I have:

RWS 34

It was cheaper when I bought it but that was 7-8 yrs ago. It is not a toy. Like i said earlier it isn't much weaker than a .22lr.

As to other brands: Gamo, Beeman; RWS, Benjamin

Will you neighbors go ape shite if a squirrel makes it's way to their yard in it's last breath? This might be a deciding factor if you need a $200 pellet gun or that $60 black one from Walmart...

If needed you can always privide false information to the neighboors regarding cats killing squirrels...

I know some of mine will. Thats why I am reluctant to shoot them. Probably just going to have to get over this though.

With the pellet gun, they won't make it far.

My neighbor's wife feeds them. Her husband told me to shoot them if I wanted to and she could just deal with it.

Thats a great idea. So I presume they will die outside? What would happen if a neighborhood dog, cat or hawk eats the dead squirrel?

Yeah, at my old house, we successfully put a dent in the rat and mouse population with this stuff.

Dunno what would happen if a dog ate it, and I hate cats. I always make my dog chase them away from my house, but this might be worth some thought because they have grown immune to anti-freeze.

By in large this is already done. They problem is that they are traveling down power/telephone/cable lines. They jump from my guest house/garage to the main house.

Maybe you can use those little pokey sharp things that they use on pigeons. Like a punji stick for squirrels. I wouldnt go so far as to put shite on it, but maybe they wouldnt like getting poked in the face.

Love this idea! I am going to start water boarding those bastards.

My grandpa used to do this. He would then make me ride in the back seat with them on the way to the lakefront. They were super pissed, like rabies times 7. I was scared when I was little, but he sure laughed his arse of at them.

If you can run power up there, you can plug in a sonic repellent, which emits a frequency you can't hear but is unpleasant for them. I also had a neighbor that put a radio and a strobe light in his attic, the noise and light seemed to make it uncomfortable for them up there.

Unless they get into your xtc stash, then you might end up with a tree rat rave.

Also, if you see any squirrel nests in your trees, climb up and knock them out, or shoot them with the pellet gun at night.

Thus the reason I said to shoot them on the gound, much less chance of them getting away. If you are handy with electricity, you could bring them in and kill them with a flip of the switch, Angola style...

That guy has several videos over on the side. He's shooting pigeons in flight in one of them. Pretty impressive.

I shot and killed a heron that was eating the koi out of our little garden pond at our old house. It crash landed in a yard about 4 houses down from mine.

I have squirrel hunted since I was a wee little shaver. No worries about escape. Just always used the trusty, old deuce deuce. Wouldn't go over well in my subdivision. Vestavia PD would go full tactical on my arse.

We had a neighbor that hated squirrels. She would trap them and then throw the trap in a large trash can full of water to drown them. Then she would put them in a garbage bag and place them in her freezer. After she got a few they would go in the trash on pick up day. She probably killed around 100 a year.

Squirrels are easy to trap. I relocate 30-40 a year to cut down on my bird seed losses. They go to a park on the other side of a river. A small bowl full of sunflower seed makes great bait.

I bought this yesterday. Actually, I cashed in a bunch of Academy gift cards on this yesterday.
