What are we looking at here?
Piece of shittyness/work of art rating? More importantly... value?

thats the entry level model from springfield, you can always find that one for around $750

Just the man I wanted to hear from... so $600 is more than fair or a good deal, especially if it's your first semi-auto pistol?

Not a Colt, not interested.

The loaded A1 is pretty sweet

First one I ever messed with was a colt. It was a smoother action it seemed than this springfield.

600 would be good, not great. i've seen that one go as low as 550ish new at budsgunshop. MSRP is around 750 i believe

Yeah this one is used. Not beat up, and still has the case, but this is the 3rd owner.
It's been shot...

i'd offer him 500, i wouldn't pay 600 for that used.
for $600 you can get a very nice RIA

A fine piece of American firearms manufacturing. Mid-level. I'd say 600-700.

Yep, offer $500 and show him KRs link

for reference, here is a RIA that has more features than what you have listed for about $150 less.

I would prob not pay more than 5 bills.

Is RIA good? I've heard they are, but not talked to anyone with any experience with them.

i've handled a few and shot one. the way it shot really surprised me for a $400 1911. the fit was good, not great. however, the finish left a lot to be desired, but for $400 for the greatest platform on earth there has to be some leeway somewhere

Ok, just curious. I would have to pass.

I've fondled the RIA its def not bad for the price. It's cheaper than what I paid for my glock and handles a lot better.

i would pass on that entry level springfield over just about everything, but i'm not a fan of springfields 1911 at all

I have the loaded version. It's nice. Just make sure you break it in first.
