Me and a few buds gonna go give it a try.

I dont fish that area much. We will be launching from the Tally Ho Club, in the Chef and Venetian Isles area.

Any recent luck in that area recently ?

Plastic/live shimps on bottom, poppin cork with plastic/shimp, carolina rigs ?

Ima Grand Isle, Cocodrie, Dulac regular, not so much with this area.

If the weather forecast holds you may want to take the kids and do something else.

Small craft advisory, lots of wind and may or may not matter but opening weekend of duck season south of Hwy 190

Have heard some good things about birds working the mouth of Bayou Bienvenue.

Bievenue would be worth a try. The wall area, rocks, and bayous are all holding fish right now

Early morning fish outlets into Lake Borgne. Look for current lines from the outlet. Afternoon you can look for birds or common areas that usually hold fish like Martello Castle. Last weekend they would only bite live shrimp, didn't want anything to do with plastic of any type or color, i tried both days. Be Patient, they didn't bite all at once. It was catch 2-3 and then deal with little ones tile 10-15 minutes later catch 2-3 more. Takes a few hours but i filled the box Saturday and Sunday this way. Early was a popping cork with live shrimp 2.5' and afternoon it was carolina rig with live. Hope this helps
