Went with Voodoo last weekend. We were totally satisfied. We will use them again. Ask for captains Tuck or Allen.

You are correct. And if you judge a trip to guatemala based on $/billfish released, you will never be disappointed.

My post wasn’t meant to be a shot at you, sorry if it came across that way. Most of the captains are on the same program, doing the same things l depending on the time of year. They burn a ton of fuel and most of them work hard. Some days they take a risk and try something different or do what they did the day before and the fish don’t cooperate.

My wife and I chartered a small but nice sport fish in los suenos I think it was like $1200 for just us two. We caught fish all day on that thing. It’s definitely a good value.

Sorry, not taken as a shot.

I just think there are much better values for your money than venice. Not to mention the racket venice marina has on fuel prices with zero other options.

If you do fish venice, mg, voodoo, and peace are your best bets.

Someone mentioned Cajun Made out of Fourchon. I second this one.

Relentless out of Venice is my only experience but it was very good. It was a fun trip.

Everybody is correct though, fishing out of Venice is a bit of a racket and is absolutely not the right choice for saving money.
