I guess these are on there because it makes it faster to drop a mag and insert a new one. With that logic they should include speed loaders for revolvers

And not enough Ruby Ridge.

However, I do collect and do believe that it is necessary to be armed to the teeth for the principles of the 2nd Amendment.

Edit: Added "to the teeth"

I personally wish I owned one of every gun and unlimited amounts of ammo but to actually panic as some have is hard for me to understand.

No panic here. Haven't overpaid for anything and prepared enough to not have to be in the rush. As far as your earlier response to being prepared, lots of citizens had to defend themselves in the rodney king riots. Police left them on their own because they didn't have the means to control the situation for a time. Personally, I would rather be left with a few hi cap mags and long range rifle, than a wheel gun and a box of ammo in a situation like that.

Next natural disaster, watch the news and you will see stories of looters and how limited LEO are in patrolling, due to being stretched thin.

I was in N.O. After Katrina so I understand how it is. I guess if I lived in an urban area I'd take more precation.

I'm fortunate I guess in that I don't have to worry about looting and rioting.

Same here. And if it moves this way, I still won't have to worry.

Better know the disposition of the LEO where you live.

LEO was not limited enough to take guns away at NOLA Katrina.

I would like the senator to explain how one would change out a magazine without a release button....

They don't want changing a mag to be an option. They prefer a fixed mag that you load through the gun.
