Sod or seed

Central MS. I'm tearing out part of my backyard deck, which will leave bare ground roughly 25 x 10'. The backyard only gets a few hours sunshine per day. Therefore, Bermuda is questionable.
Any suggestions on what I should do, Sod or seed?
My backyard has a mixture of many grasses and we don't put much effort into it, unlike our the front yard.
I want to go the simplest and easiest route possible, we will only be in this house for two more years.

We pulled up a flower bed in our back yard and laid St Aug sod. It's easy if the ground is already bare. And it took off in just a few weeks of watering.
It sounds like your space will be pretty squared off, so it should be a breeze.
You can do that with less than 1 pallet.

If you have the capability to run a small subsoiler that would make it better.

Getting rid of it in a couple years, expert gardener kwik grass seed at Walmart and a bag of triple 13 fertilizer broadcasted on all bare dirt with a sprinkler about 20 minutes every night. Easy and cheap.

Sod is simpler and easier. More costly.

Would be budget dependent. No budget, go with sod, tight budget go with seed...

No idea? All I know is bare dirt will turn green with grass and remain green.
