Same here. We hunt continental land south of Gibson and there was only one teal seen on the lease last weekend. I honestly think the flyzone has shifted west for whatever reason.

No water here. Looks like we'll have to rely on 2nd split unless we get some pretty heavy cold fronts and rains during the 1st split.

Come on up! Keep telling my LA peeps that you can't beat the hunting up here. Way more opportunities here to get a field at a decent price. Thousands of acres of flooded timber to hunt from the northern part of the state, all the way to the southern border.

Been here about 13 years, and would never consider going back. Now fishing is another story.

Well, you can forget big, nice lakes on the east side of the state. If you like fishing small lakes, oxbows, and rivers with dirty water, you will be in heaven! For the deep, clear, big lakes, ya gotta go west my man.

Plenty ducks in SE LA. JUst need some weather to keep them coming. Two Utes limited both days easily last weekend.

Ducks keep disturbing my deer hunting. NEA is thick with them so far.
