Parts of Louisiana will have a light freeze tonight or tomorrow.

Yeah, I just thought the title was worthy. Be sure to mark your vines with a swipe of lamb blood.

Mine died last night. Killed everything I'd planted. Gotta start over.

Does it have to get below freezing to die or just low 30s?

I had covered them with mardi gras cups, but this morning.... toast. Maters, peppers, etc.

At or below, especially considering where everybody's plants are growth wise. If freeze gets my first string, I got a 2nd string waiting on the bench.

Wish I had thought of that, I know I smashed some putting all those leaves on top of them. Side note, I was scooping out of compost pile and the stuff I put in yesterday is cooking hot.

You should water them with antifreeze. Just remember not to feed the tomatoes to your neighbors pit bulls.
