Prayers sent. I spent 2 years at the juco there. The only entertainment we had was the little 3 screen theater there.

Amazing how much my GPA dropped when I left for LSU though.

Years back I can't from work and laid into then pretty good. Was a rough day and went straight to bed and didn't clean them off as I had done every day. Well in just one day it ruined the paint on my black f150 front end.
So yeah do it when u get home. At least a heavy spray. Use fabric softener sheets to scrub then off. Those fine sheets won't scuff the paint.

This species' reputation as a public nuisance is due ... to its slightly acidic body chemistry. If left for more than an hour or two, the remains become extremely difficult to remove. Their body chemistry has a nearly neutral 6.5 pH but may become acidic at 4.25 pH if left on the car for a day. In the past, the acidity of the dead adult body, especially the female's egg masses, often resulted in pits and etches in automotive paint and chrome if not quickly removed.

Don't do this too me. I can't handle it. Just let me think it's going to be upper 90's until the end of October. Don't get my hopes up and crush them.

I stopped at the dollar car wash and spent 9 quarters blasting them off Saturday - my truck looked like shite - and I had to put the wand almost directly on the front of the hood and grill to get them gone.

Then drove to Catahoula Parish yesterday and have them even worse now. This pisses me off. Plus Sunday out shooting skeet and left my truck door open and has as many inside as out.

This time of year, I don't concern myself with the highs as much as the lows. I know the highs are going to be high. On the other hand, waking up tuesday to 67* is going to be nice.

I've got a large layer of grime already on the truck so the bugs aren't really bothering me too much.

That and usually lower humidity. I don't mind 90 degrees if the humidity is reasonable. Don't think I'd want to be in a deer stand but for doing other outside stuff it's not bad at all.

Mine is on borrowed time, the big unit sounds like a trash grinder when it kicks off. Praying to make it till next Spring.

Our kitchen one actually scares me. I think we could all huddle up in one of the bedrooms and survive until a tech could come out. It will finally break on a Sunday though.
