From the head and three inches back it looked like a garter. After that the pattern changed.

Camera does not show correct color, very green, pretty snake. Also felt like she had eggs in her. Not sure if she ate some are was going to have babies.

Well, it's obviously NOT a rattlesnake, copperhead, cottonmouth, or coral snake. So why should he be afraid to pick it up?

Knew it was nonpoisonous, was more interested in what sub species it was from.
