King snakes spots are more even and smaller. Never heard of a buttermilk runner,but that proves nothing.. I hope you let it go.

Yep, took the pic and let him go. Not many snakes I run across get that kind of treatment.

Hubby said Buttermilk Racer too--he was all excited when he saw your pic because he's only seen one in Louisiana and that was up near Red Dirt/Kisatchie area. Are you in north LA?
