My wife is on a mission to get rid of the snakes here on the bayou.

Does she really think that will ever happen. You kill one, another moves in. Just killing an animal for no reason is dumb. I told my neighbor that last weekend when he walked over to brag about killing a ribbon snake. He looked at me for about 10 seconds while I just stared at him. I think he thought I was joking at first. Then he walked back home. I hope he stays there. He's a dumbass anyway. If I had known this tactic would have worked so well, I'd have said it when he introduced himself years ago.

I grew up as a kid on a lake w a Snake Charmer and it was heaven. Funnest tool I had hanging on banks looking for snakes. Loved it!! Pellet guns were fun as well, but the Charmer took it to another level

I'd suggest a pellet gun as her 2nd gun. It's fun to snipe snakes in the grass with a pellet gun too!

I not killing the nature around you isn't very popular here. I think there are plenty of valid reasons to kill animals, but shooting snakes for existing on/near your property is pretty lame.
