Ever drove a car with an electronic clutch? That's some weirdddddd shite. It feels like riding with somebody in a stick shift diesel who doesn't nearly know how to drive it. It's not gonna die, it's just gonna jerk you around like a roller coaster. That's what OP is describing.

Contact Geoff Skinner at Engine Power Systems and he might could give you a tune. 225-751-8500. He's the former owner of Thunder Racing and has a ton of experience on GM vehicles.

You didn't take this thing for a spin before you bought it? I understand you have buyers remorse, but it's something you should have noticed.

About the same time you put styling and fuel economy over practicality and ruggedness?

BURN.

Just kidding, it's the nature of the new GM trans. Sad part is it only uses less fuel on the testing bench.

I'm sure someone has a tune for it. Has to be computer controlled.

I was echoing the sentiment that you should have bought a tundra

Depending on where you are, Futral motorsports could probably help you out.

Giy there is a wizard with autos.

WEll why the frick would anyone buy a truck with an engine that has a known design flaw? WTF? I guess you'd roll into a new one before the warranty on the previous POS expires?

You're complaining that your truck drives like brand new and I'm the shitty poster?

Yeah actually.

But we both know where the components come from.

In any case, it's an annoying normal feature, justin at futral can likely help you, and this is the best subtle brag thread I have ever seen.

The more I read, the more I'm finding people say it gets better with miles.

I posted a pic in the other GM thread. That was not my purpose at all. It's pretty clear I wanted to know if I had a problem or if this is just the way the new trucks are.

It also seems to get better if you run it hard.

But that hints to valving issues rather than electronic.

I'd laugh to no end if it's fixed with a swap in fluid.

I test drove a 2014 Chevy. It did exactly as yours. The salesman is a friend of mine. He told me that was normal when coasting. I bought an F150 the next day. A close friend bought a 2016 Silverado. I drove it. Same shite as before. I drove Chevys for 20 years, buying new every 3 years. Could not sell me one now, regardless of the deal.
