These are the final two suppressors that I’ve narrowed it down. I need the OB’s help in picking.

Also, the correct answer isn’t some other suppressor. I’ll be buying from my local gun store and these are the two they have, so it’s going to be one of these.

I vote Dead Air just because Mike and Gary are good people. I have seen someone destroy their Wolverine by running a few hundred rounds from a PKM and they were more than happy to fix it.

Can’t go wrong with either, both are outstanding cans. IMO Dead Air has the best QD in the business, and the Sandman has zero barrel length restrictions if that plays a role. Also if you love the Omega overall, but prefer the Dead Air QD, you can now get the Key Mo which is a direct replacement for the Omega’s QD.

ETA: to add to what Sammich said about Dead Air’s top notch customer service, upon checking concentricity when I first attached my Sandman-S, my rod aligned such that it was very close in contact with the end cap at the exact same location on all 3 rifles I put it on. Contacted Dead Air, they sent me a mailing slip, and in 2 days I had a new can with perfect alignment (said I had a bad run out, and apologized extensively).

What I really like about the omega is that it is lighter, shorter (when the muzzle break endcap is removed), and the fact that I can run it on a pistol.

But I do like that the sandman seems to be built stronger.

Is the Cherry Bomb a QD or direct thread?

similar to Wilson Combat and Thunerbeast muzzle devices, it has its own threads (not a ratchet system like the ASR or 51T)

that taper is pretty incredible. keeps all the carbon off your threads

The only problem I had with the Q suppressor is that they don’t offer a muzzle brake, just a flash hider. Unless I’m misinformed and they do

Well after watching a bunch of YouTube videos, and talking with y’all, the dead air was consistently louder decibel wise than the thunder beast, silencerco omega, and from what I could find, the full Nelson.

Do I have to worry about a direct thread suppressor becoming lose when firing on an ar? I know somebody mentioned that’s why they would stay away from the the thunderbeast I believe.

the Thunderbeast can be had in a fast-attach version. threads onto their cb brake

Thunderbeast Ultra 7/9, Q Trash Panda/Thunderchicken/Half Nelson/Full Nelson, and the Omega are some of the best cans you can find right now. You'll be happy with any of them. I have an Omega already, and the Trash Panda is waiting in jail for me.
