Has anyone put these on a gun and got some thoughts on it?

I really like my Sig rangefinder and I’m intrigued with the ability of the rangefinder to Bluetooth with the scope. I haven’t bought the scope and probably won’t. I think the 5 is the newer and better scope.

Local gun guy swears by them. Said one of main guys who left leupold was working for sig and that they are as good as leupold

I have not used one, just looked through it. Looked like good glass.

I do have sig range finder and its EXCELLENT

I bought a Whiskey3 to throw on an AR not expecting much. I was surprised at the clarity of the glass for what I had paid.

I bought a whiskey 3 3-9x40 to put on a Ruger Precision Rimfire. It was $100 at Academy.

I have been very impressed with the glass on it. Very clear.

I have one. Whiskey3 3-9x40. For the $100 I spent on it I've been very impressed.

I have the whiskey on my cz 17. It’s a nice scope better than anything I’ve seen in its price range

I have one on a rimfire rifle and would not hesitate to buy another one for the same application. It was $50 cheaper than a VX-1 Leupold and I couldn’t tell a damn bit of difference between the two.

well I got a new CVA 35 Whelen coming in today and I need glass for it. Was looking around and saw a end-of-season sale where I could get a Whiskey3 3-9x40 for $130. Can also get a comparable Vortex Copperhead for about $150 or the Diamondback for $200. For that kind of recoil and no shots longer than 150 yds, just wondering if the Sig scope was worth it or just get a Vortex. Not looking to spend Leupold or NF money on this rifle, and I really like the Vortex Crossfire already on another rifle.

As I understand it Sig hired some of Leupold's staff to help build the higher end scopes which I think are made in Japan. The cheaper stuff I would stay way from.

There is a huge jump in price between the Whiskey's & Tango's and that would explain it. A Vortex Diamondback and VX Freedoms are about the same price on Amazon.
