I have been after this deer for quite some time. It's got a ton of sentimental value to me. Killed about 10 minutes from my house in Gillis LA @ my grandparents property. My grandmother passed away several years ago & I showed her a pic of this deer before she passed. She told me I would get him, just to keep trying. I was shaking so bad after i shot it, all I could think about was her telling me that I would get him eventually. Took me about 20 minutes to collect myself and get out of the tree. I tagged it, loaded it up and drove him straight to her grave. Cried like a baby too.
Today has been a great freaking day!!!
About to head to Darrells in LC for a cocktail to celebrate. 1st round on me if anyone cares to join me.
