Imo, i have seen plenty young bucks with wide racks and tall tines. But we have not seen a young buck ever with 6" around or better bases. We age all deer by jawbone as well as physical charachteristics.

Just my opinion.

Wasn’t meant to measure anything. Dude claimed you can determine age of a deer using antlers. I posted proof to the contrary.

^^^This!! Best way to age a deer. Of course, it can only be done post mortem, but that's the situation here.
