Shitload of .223 and assorted ammo at academy in lafayette

Same in Texarkana. All the Winchester 5.56 you could ever want. 500/299.00

I actually found 3 boxes of 300 blackout on the shelf yesterday at the academy by my house here in the Houston area. Of course I could only buy 2, but I was shocked. We've been having a pretty steady supply of 223, 556, 308, with some 9mm, 40, and 45 sprinkled in for a few months now, but the 300 blackout this week and the 350 legend last week surprised the hell out of me. There was always 7.62 x 39. Don't think they have been out of it for at least 6 months now.

Let's just say he went in with two children and left with only one.

Truck must have stopped in Lafy and dropped off the entire load or got lost on the way to Alexandria. Checked Academy here just a couple hours ago and it was bone dry except for some oddball stuff.

Yep, same here. I've had an SKS for a long while now, had ammo, never ran out and occasionally restocked.

As I remember, Wolf/Tula steel-cased whatever always seemed to be somewhere around $200 a case, give or take.

In looking, I bought a case last June or July, for... $210 a case.
In looking today, I can get a case for under $400.

And it's still roughly, .15-20 cheaper than anything else.

Yeah I’m always surprised at how much 5.56 is available compared to all the other common calibers
