No personal experience, but from the reviews I've read and seen on the gun nut culture shows, I just don't see a better bang for buck in 1911. Pardon the pun.

I have 7 1911's, I LOVE 1911's, that is one of my favorites and it was the cheapest.

It's got what you want on a 1911, and nothing you don't. It runs. It's faily cheap. I wish Handguns TV episodes were on youtube. Nice review by that Tarr guy. Wasn't far removed from a similar review of a Nighthawk costing about 4.5 times more.

I love that ruger! It's a full size 1911, The clip that it came with is excellent and it goes into every other 1911 I have. It does not have ambi safety. It also came with Novak 3 dot sights. Damn good value for the price!
