I honestly don't know the answer to your question, but once you figure that out, make yourself a dope card with the hold overs on various powers.

So I can brag on the internet about how my rifle still shoots where it should afterwards. Sometimes I throw it out the stand because the barrel is too long to fit through the door when it's across my chest. When you have a REALLY good scope, you don't even need a case. Just let that bastard bounce around the truck bed like an old shotgun.

Seems to be built like a tank. Reticle (BDC) nice and clear. Be nice to mount it (Tikka 308). It can only help these tired old eyes.

I put a Trijicon accupoint 3x9x40 on my sons Tikka 3 light and we love it. Great target accusation with the naturally lighted reticle. Also have same on my Mauser M12 in 308.

What glass out there these days is comparable to the Zeiss Conquest of the early 2000s. To me, those scopes have been sufficient to above average resolution and hell for solid. Just a touch on the heavy side.

I will say, it’s odd that someone loves both Leupy and SWFA. Leupold has a reputation of being overly delicate in many hunting circles.

I've completely lost my leupold love. I only recommend that exact model anymore, and only because my personal experience with 2 of them has been great. Both have a good many miles on them and ive never had to adjust either one. I think thats a good scope for a normal hunting rifle at a good price point.

I've got mad love for SWFA since finding them. Great reliability and low price? Sign me up.

I've only ever used one of those from that time frame and can't recall how amazing it was or wasn't. I was just sighting in a rifle for a guy that had one, and my eyes are far from optic snob eyes. I'd be surprised if basically everything out now isnt as good or better as that was. Even $500 scopes have REALLY good glass across the board these days best I can tell.

Subtle Brag. I don’t have one, but it does seem like the accupoints get rock solid reviews for non dialing scopes.
