S x S question

I am looking to purchase a S x S and I have looked at a few different brands. I really like the Polaris Ranger and I pretty much narrowed my choice likely to either the 570 full size or the 900XP. But from searching the internet, I have read that even thought the Turf Mode is a nice feature it can lead to issues with the machine (gears and transfer case). The machine will really only be used for duck hunting (riding on a levee) and riding in the neighborhood.
Any feed back would be appreciate.

Most turf mod issues come from people running the unit at hi speed in tm . Turf mode is for low speed in the yard to keep from ripping your yard up . When in doubt buy the highlight ranger no tm and upgrade transmission

They only make this model in the 1000 and they are too high dollar and jacked up for my needs.
Also, your comment on turf mode is the first I have heard of this.

Check and see if it has the newer turf mode like the General. I waited for an 18 because of that.

The 570 full size and 900XP that I am looking to purchase are both 2018 models. So the 18 models should not have these so called turf mode issues.
